The Pierce Volunteer Fire Department covers an area of 168.5 square miles in Southeastern Pierce County in Northeast Nebraska.  The district has a population of 2,400 people. The department consists of 40 volunteer firefighters and 25 EMT’s.

The department is a 100% volunteer organization committed to providing professional emergency fire and rescue services to the City of Pierce and the Pierce Rural Fire District.  We also work toward improving fire safety awareness with community programs.
